I simply can’t decide which is more ridiculous, Anthony Weiner’s schnanigans or pharma reps suing for overtime. I was a rep for 2 1/2 years and I was a hard worker, but overtime?? Ya gotta be kidding. Even as dedicated as I was, I had the freedom to set my own schedule that worked for me. Even working in the hospital, starting a 6:00 a.m., scrubbing into surgeries, giving a sales presentation to a roomful of doctors – at the end of the day, I was more than well compensated and it wasn’t rocket science either.  This is one of the last groups on earth that deserves overtime – we were not digging coal or saving lives or teaching the next generation.  C’mon, overtime, seriously?  Seriously?  And if you count going out for schmancy dinner and drinks to schmooze doctors overtime, well you are plain nuts.

It seems to me that people are just mad and they need to justify their anger against big pharma. Lawsuits just suck the life out of people and companies – some lawsuits are necessary, however, this one seems to have little merit and IMHO is a waste of time and money.

Perhaps there is a rehab for bitter reps (Hint: it’s not Cafepharma.com) – and say hello to Anthony for me.
